RE: Evoque ran out of gas!! Now won't start
Welcome to the forum Nadatmo. Sorry that it is because you have a problem that you have joined up.
Did you prime the system correctly before refilling the tank? I suspect you have trapped air in the fuel lines after running the tank so low. Normally in petrol engined Land Rovers you get an awful lot of warning that you are about to run on vapours - flashing lights and gongs coming out of the dashboard and if you have the factory fitted satnav it will automatically change the display to show the nearest gas stations, even what brand of fuel they sell! I think you need to get your equivalent of Land Rover Assistance in to re-prime your fuel system for you. You may even need to get the car recovered to a service outlet to reset the fuel pump and check out that you haven't done any other damage to the fuel system.
Good luck, I suspect that unless you have a really generous dealer you could be facing a hefty invoice for fixing the issues though as they are basically "self inflicted"
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Have you tried filling it with petrol instead of gas?
