Engine noise from Cold Start

I've had the "bucket o bolts" a couple of times now.
Clears after 10-15 seconds on tickover.
Car is garaged, no bonnet vents, but only happens if its cold/wet weather when the car was put away and it hasn't been used for over 2 days.
In daily use it never happens.
Spoke to my salesman who said that he has had three other reports from customers all with manual Evoques. I don't know if this is only an issue with manual boxes???
Seems to probably be a moisture issue as it has never happened during the summer.
Another one of the cars wee foibles.

I have this on my manual coupe (bonnet vents) but mine is garaged every night so the rainwater/moisture theory won't effect mine,first time I heard it I had to check the oil it sounded like there was none in it!Still happens intermittently but just ignore it now

Had this about three times now. Last time very loud, and was relucted to 'go away' when revs increased.
Dealer...... "Have not heard of that one"

Auto Coupe 3 months old 2000 miles

I have experienced the same start-up squeal recently during several wet cold mornings.
Has the source of the noise been located?
Is there a fix for this problem?

I don't know if it was fixed as the car was rejected for numerous defects, this was just one of them.
However, the replacement did it once back when it was new in April. Not done it since, but now the damp weather is back...........
