Engine Malfunction (Amber)
My "Engine Malfunction (Amber)" light on the dash is lit. It is the engine symbol. Owners manual says to drive at slow speeds and take it to a dealer.
Any idea what this could be ??
Thanks.

If the car otherwise works well, it is propably some error in the exhaust emision system, like the oxygen sensor

Okay, thanks. Just came on, going to try a new tank of gas and see what happens.

Could be a number of things. Mine came on a week or so ago. Took it into the dealer and the catalytic converter was bad.

Bought a $20 OBD2 code reader. Got a generic code P0089, fuel pressure regulator. Just cleared the code and well see what happens. This sounds like a coincidence, but the gas tank had less than an 1/8th of a tank left. Keep you posted.
