Electric Front Seat Motors - Coupe

I think I read in another thread that LR were upgrading the motors on all 2013 RRE's.

That being the case how feasible will it be to get mine upgraded by LR as part of my service?

It might be feasible, but I think that there is no chance of LR doing it for free............................... depends if it is an software or hardware change that has been made - if they have fitted upgraded motors then you will need new motors

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I predict a lot of suddenly burned out Coupe seat motors after September then!

RE: Electric Front Seat Motors - Coupe

Its new motors and a new switch.
The motors are going to be 2 speed, with the Standard (slow) speed adjusting the regular seat adjustment, and the faster speed operated by the switch by the lever, which will run approx 40% faster.

They are not (yet) available for retrofit.... Paid or not.

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).
Collected, Friday 13th Shocked April 2012
