Double locking the Evoque

Hi

I got my Evoque Dynamic a couple of days ago and I'm so happy with it.

But now I'm wondering about single and double locking. I've read the manual and it said that pushing the Smart key lockbutton once single locks the vehicle, but pushing it twice double locks and gives me an audio confirmation.

In the owner's manual I read that one can activate "Audible lock waning" in the vehicle setup menu, but when I activate it I'm only getting the audible lock warning when double locking (when i push twice).

My first question is - How do I doublelock the vehicle if I only want to push the lockbutton once?

My second question - Is it possible to get an audio confirmation when singlelocking the vehicle?

1 - you can't double lock with just one push

2 - no, beep can only be set on double lock

Too bad, when unlocking the car you can choose to single-point or multi-point entry with either one or two push. So one should've been able to choose how to lock the vehicle too (with one or two push).

Does double locking give you more security??

Yes, even if the windows are broken and the interior handles won't operate the door locks.
