Does the Pure have full leather?

I can confirm the EU spec is part leather and 17" wheels as tandard, 18"s and full leather are part of the tech pack.

In the UK these are standard. I would seriously consider using a different dealer, if their knowledge ios so poor at this point I would dread to think how the experience will continue.

Your salesman needs to go on a training course, a simple check off the uk spec brochure will show all pures have full grained leather as standard.If he needs one I have 3 as land rover keep sending the same one so I still don't have 2012 brochure

In SouthEastAsia, For the export model, the semi leather option is 'Dynamica cloth (a bit like suede) & leather' and is standard on Pure. You need to add a bit more for the 'Full leather option'. Im guessing it looks like the Dynamic Standard seats, but rather the perforated leather, you have the Dynamica cloth (pls confirm)

He certainly does, I wouldn't really grace him with the title "Salesman". The car sold itself, and I knew what I wanted.

He was more an "order taker"

I went on the configurator last saturday and you could spec part leather part suede

Can you do me a favour and check with your dealer in Gibraltar if the Euro Tech Pack 1 has remained the same with full grained leather and 18 inch alloys plus all the rest as my dealer here in Malta insists that the leather + 18 inch alloys have been removed.

The online configurator still lists the euro tech pack 1 with leather + alloys so I think my local dealer does not know what he is talking about. Have phoned LR and sent 2 x emails with no reply. The guy on the phone told me if your dealer says so then thats how it is!!

When building a car online no reference is made to part leather.

Yes, I agree that he was more than probably looking at the Euro spec list.

I still don't have my car yet despite ordering in late August 2011, and ironically my build date as confirmed by LR is the 16th March (the same day as yours The Valeter). It can't come soon enough now the X5 has gone.

They must have the can of Firenze Red out that day

Were you on the Uk version as I can't see it letting you make that choice at the moment?
