RE: DVD upload

Been working on this too

Head for divx.com and download converter. Open this and at the top it asks you to add file. Head for file location and then select output type. I have used mobile which works fine. Then hit convert. Once conversion is complete you then drag and drop it onto a USB flash memory. You'll need to format this to FAT32 and it'll copy over no problems. Take this into the car, place into the USB socket and follow directions from AV menu.
I tried this first using mp4 but the car only recognises DivX files so you need to make sure you convert to this file type.

I assume video playback is only possible when the vehicle is stationary?

TV on the go box. See my tread on " Rear TV screen" which by the way let's you fit a aftermarket rear camera system as well.
