RE: DC100Sport
Some interesting new info in today's Autocar. Overwhelming positive reaction to the DC100 means that it could well appear as a sub-Freelander model with the body of DC100 priced £20000-£25000. In a side panel of the item there are also some sketched of the future of the ranges of Lr and RR.............Range Rover will go Evoque, Evoque XL, RRS (2015 version), RRS 7 seater, 2013 FFRR. LR would be DC100, 2015 Freelander, New Defender family (SW/Pick-up/HT and Double Cab) no open top though and 2016 Disco5. Now the drawings of the entire Land Rover range all look the same.
There is also a CGI of the next FFRR on the front cover................... beautiful it is not! Not even Evqoue-a-like, more L322 but longer, with a more sloping front and 400kgs lighter.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
