Courtesy Car from your dealer

Given the recent communication from JLR head office to the dealers that a courtesy car should be offered for customers who's current car is being sold and therefore without a car until there RRE arrives. I have emailed my dealer and awaiting a response, but was wondering if anybody had been successful. I have a buyer for my BMW and need to take advantage of the sale now. Also I feel if I take a courtesy car from my dealer then it keeps the pressure on to get my car build and delivered.

Now Sold: 5dr Pure SD4 Man / Fuji White / Pano Roof / Tech Park / Style 6 Alloys / Privacy Glass / Xenons / Black H'lining / Power Fold Door Mirrors / Power Tailgate / Carpet Mats / Front Fogs.

Yep, me too. I would need to sell my TT and am expecting delivery in March.
How much would LR charge for a courtesy car, presumably monthly?

"Nothing" would be my negotiation start point.

RE: Courtesy Car from your dealer

I sold my D4 and ran about in what ever i could get my hands on including my old TD5 110 race support truck. I think if you have the chance to sell your current car for a good price i would take advantage of it asap and worry about transport after.

You can as said get an old snnotter for a few hundred or at worst but not so bad for small trips a 50cc moped.

RE: Courtesy Car from your dealer

This is what I did. I sold my Z4M Coupe a couple of months ago and took a MK II MR2 in PX for £750. The MR2 left on Saturday for £900 and the Evoque arrives tomorrow. The funny thing was that my wife took a real shine to said shed but it had rust issues that would have cost too much to put right.

I sold my Kuga last month as I was offered a good price, so I have been pushing a 2003 1.2 Punto around the North East of England for the past 5 weeks! Only 2 days left to go..........

Come wednesday the punto will be for sale, I need to get as much as possible for it to fund the Evoque, so I am looking for offers around £32,000 (Ono)!

Waiting for: - 2015 SD4 Dynamic, LUX pack, Auto, 5 door. Mauritius Blue. Santorini Roof........spare wheel.
