I'm pretty sure that's the aerial, for when you have a panoramic roof. With the standard roof you get a knob/bulge on the back of the roof similar to a BMW.

5 door, SD4 Auto, Dynamic LUX, Orkney Grey, Verve Interior, Ebony Headlining, Privacy Glass, Spare Wheel......

RE: Coupe rear windows

They are radio antennae, for the RDS / TMC systems, if you look closely there are two on one glass, not a single one. The two RRS's and both FFRR's I have owned had them on both sides and IIRC I have them on both sides in my Evoque as I a.so have the TV option

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Don't think it's anything to do with pano roof, I was under the impression they were to do with TV, certainly in UK market but I could be wrong

RE: Coupe rear windows

Nope - I have pano roof and dont have that window but do still have a bulge on the roof on the spoiler

I think it is an aerial window fitted into a car that it shouldn't - especially as it then doesn't actually appear to be connected to anything.

Bit confused why I don't have a bulge on the roof... I have a pano and full radio/tv and have the antennae in the side window.

RE: Coupe rear windows

Ranger - I have revised my posts - my bulge is not the same as a non pano but there is a bulge on my spoiler.

Xfft - I don't appear to have these aerials on my windows (certainly not this same obvious design) so how do my rds and tmc work ?

RE: Coupe rear windows

@RS - thanks, but slightly different I think - that one was about the 'tags', which I do have. This one is about 'aerial' lines, which I don't have.
