Changing air filter

Hey guys,
Ive just ordered a K&N air filter for my evoque. Has anyone else done this? Also, is it easy to replace the air filter? I can't seem to find any guidelines on how to do this....

You might want to read this beforehand:
http://www.knfilters.com/faq.htm#16
And then, follow the standard filter change procedure
And you'll defenitely need this video:

RE: Changing air filter

As to how to change the air filter - I have not done it, but it looks very, very simple. There are several screws around the edge of the air filter box. You need to take those out or loosen them until they are free. You probably need to also disconnect the wiring going to the mass air flow sensor. Once that's done, the top of the airbox should be relatively free to move out of the way and allow access to the filter.

RE: Changing air filter

Do even need to do any of that. Just unscrew the 4 screws i believe and drop it in. If your anal like me i vacuumed the airbox becasue it had little pebbles in it. It should only take like 5 mins max pretty straight forward. Dont forget to put the stickers on otherwise the dealer might change them out for the paper ones.
