CJFP, yes I've done 3 as well and have always paid the extra to upgrade to a full day, well worth paying for as you get to go a bit further off away from the "schoolroom" than you do on the free half day

Terrific review Alex thanks.
I too have specified the 825 Meridian but am not an audiophile - just like great music in the car. Can you explain compression settings to me?
And I curently use my Ipod in my BMW and it connects using the USB and aux jack together - do you know if this connector would work in the Evoque or is the lead different?
Cheers
Arrived: SD4 Prestige Auto Coupe with Lux pack. Ipanema Sand with Black Panoramic Roof

Griff the lead you need for connecting to your Evoque is the standard white one you get from the Apple Store for iPad/iPhone/iPod's IIRC the car doesn't come with one as standard you provide your own

Thanks Tim. BMW flogged me a fancy connector for my Ipod Classic and I was not sure if I needed something sold by LR.
I might try my docking cable next time I take the car out.

BMW stopped using/requiring this y connector last upgrade in Aug last year. My 5Series just uses the standard apple White USB cable.

Griff - when you trade the BM or sell it on keep the cable, you never know it might fit and if it doesn't then there's always a BMW forum you can sell it on!

As I mentioned I took a couple of photos of the view of the mirrors. Personally I didn't find them too big ... in fact I found their size rather reassuring - helped to give a good all round view. I think removing some of the depth (red circle) of the mirror might help for people who did find them too big.
