BAS or Bluefin?

In a bit of a Dilemma, I have decided I want a bit more oomph from my TD4, and after considering an array of tuning boxes and remaps etc I have nailed my decision between the following:

BAS stage 2 (228bhp and 485nm) but costs close to £600

or Superchips Bluefin (which for me is £340):

for the TD4 this gives 196bhp:

Its difficult as both are very reputable, so should I go for the BAS to eek out the extra ponies, or superchips and save a few pounds toward the coilovers I also want to get????

RE: BAS or Bluefin?

Or maybe too many members treasure their warranty too much to fit something not approved by the manufacturer?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
