Thank you, a useful update to what I think (I would, wouldn't I?) is an underrated variant of the Evoque.

Pictures are library pictures from LR, they appeared early in the year when 2014MY was announced, they aren't Autocar's own photos hence it being a Prestige, they are the same photos the Sunday Times Driving section used 4 months ago. Nice write up though

I didn't realise that they were modifying the 4WD system, or that Autocar had reservations about the previous system. That doesn't fill me with confidence with the worst of winter coming (and snow today).

At least the 9-speed gearbox has improved the mpg.

But its responsiveness and basic ‘go-straight-where-you-point-it’ handling make it relaxing and easy-to-drive over long distances.

Nice review feeling happier that i have choosen the same model, the audi Q3 RS was something i considered but i felt the price was too steep.
Even more excited now for when i recieve mine. Cool

Who are they referring to by "some". The Evoque beat all of its peers re handling etc in tests
It is a 4x4 at the end of the day and I would suggest that anybody who wants more grip or handling finesse than their Evoque can give is probably in the wrong car Wink
