Auto tailgate

Hi All.
Anyone know if Dealer can retrofit the auto tailgate system onto a pure version?

I doubt it as it isn't just a switch and motor on the tailgate, there is another switch on the dash and a key fob switch. Normally it is a factory order and most of those cannot be retro-fitted. Open your tailgate and have a look to see if there is a rubber stopper/ blank to the right of the lock on the underside of the tailgate. Peel it back if there is one and have look to see what is underneath it - if there is any wiring for a switch then it might be possible.

I asked this question some time ago, has had not specced it and wish I had. I was told that the tailgate would need to be changed, and it was therefore out of the question.
