RE: Apple CarPlay
As far as I know LR do not support Apple CarPlay on any of their cars, they use their own system called InControl APPS which is generally recognised as being hopeless! A 2013 car would not have InControl as it wasn't intorduced until March 2014. LR did hype up that at one stage they were going to adopt CarPlay but I suspect that Apple wanted too much money for it.............
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Apple CarPlay
I can confirm that In control apps is a bag of shit.
Poorly integrated and not many useful apps.
I do use the Sygic App for sat nav as it gives me the option to have a decent sat nav, with speed and traffic warnings. Though for £65 it's not cheap, but does not have a subscription.
MY2015 RR Evoque, Dynamic, HUD, In-Control Apps, Firenze Red, Contrast Black Roof with Panoramic Roof. Keyless Entry
