Just for Clarity, the shadow wheels are 'style 7' not 6.... so depending on what the dealer actually said, means you could get either!

I also just got word mine has been delayed by a month. I ordered 3rd August,for a NOV build,with a mid-late Jan delivery.
Now that i have finally got an actual build date,it is said mine will be built on the 23/12/11 for a approx mid Feb delivery.

P.S. Does anyone know the answer to this question....Understanding the delays that have occured regarding intended build months, but once a customer like myself has been given a specific build date (23/12/11), is this projection accurate, and mean it will strictly be built on this specific date, or is that a give or take a few days, depending on how they are going?

I'd give or take a week or two, as I was told on the 21/11 that mine has been delayed and due to go into build on 8/12 and then got a phone call on 25/11 to say that it has been built and they have call for it.

Ah o.k. good!!! thanks EVO. That is what i was hoping to hear, as it gives me hope that mine might be built well before that too-close-to-xmas-festive-factory-worker-focus-distraction-date of 23/12/11. I really hope it's a week or two off that date....fingers crossed.

My date (delayed from next week) is 23/12 also... Some concern regarding 'Christmas distraction'!

There are quite a few with this build date, maybe it's just so that they are built this year. Hopefully it will come forward.

I think there may be a bit of LR psychology going on with a number of people being 'happily surprised' that their car has arrived at the dealer early and without notice - let's hope this happens to many of us !

My dealer said the same. Dates will remain, even if cars are built earlier... Provides them with some breathing space, and makes them look good when build is early....

I think the word "built" makes them look good.

Mine is still taking a good 2 weeks from when it was built to being handed over to me though!
