RE: Alloy Wheels

They are a nice wheel and when I got mine (January) it was the only one my dealer had put out with those wheels all the others had style 3, Style 5 or style 6.

RE: Alloy Wheels

Hi silly question perhaps, but what is the difference between the style 8 polished silver 9 spoke alloy and the 20" 9 spoke polished silver? Are they the same wheel? Was wondering when I saw them on the LR site as well.
Thanks

Now a very happy owner of a Dynamic Si4 Firenze 5dr, black roof with lux & plus packs, black alloys, heated steering wheel, privacy, homelink & spare wheel.Very Happy

Yep my favourite too - nice and chunky styling to go with the chunky evoque with the added benefit of the more comfortable 19" tyres and easy to clean too!!

RE: Alloy Wheels

Style 4 19s for me. They were my favourite design, I wanted 19s (not 20s) for the ride quality, and they are easiest to keep clean.

I'm hoping to get a set of 18s from a Freelander this afternoon, to use for winter/offroad. Anybody got any suggestions for tyres for me? Rims are 18 x 8" and I would want a reasonable winter/offroad tread pattern - not too aggressive, but chunkier than a standard road tyre.
Thanks

I'm impressed with the Pirellis that came on my style 4s so far - not sure if they come in the right size for your 18's.

Yes, I got the Pirellis on my 19s, and damn good rubber it is, but I want a higher profile offroad/winter type tyre for my 18s. If Pirelli do a suitable tyre, then so be it, but I've always had good service from Goodyear Wranglers on previous Range Rovers and Defender, so I may see if I can get some of those to fit. I was just wondering if anyone on here had any other ideas fortyres that they had used for winter use - especially on Freelander 2s, as that is what the rims are coming off.

Ant the Pirelli 19" Scorpion Ice and Snow tyres I have I believe are also available in 17" and 18". Pirelli also now sell an All Terrain as well, not sure what sizes they are available in

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
