A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Ordered a Pure eD4 5dr, black, privacy, HDD nav, cirus leather, 20" style 6 wheels, glass roof....lease company car, due 24/11/11?! so they say

The website says quarter1 2012 though?? how so early?

ED, don't believe everything you read on the LR website, they don't update it too often - we were all led to understand customer build cars would start rolling down the line on 19th August, they started rolling off the line on 4th July!

Same as you I believe the website, in addition the guy at the event tonight said the Pure was being not released in quarter 1 but the lease company are addament the car is due for delivery on the 24/11/11 and to date there has been no change on this date.
The lease company feel they have so much pull and buying power they also pre-ordered and allocated vehicles in advance. Most of the time the cars at events or run by manufacturers which are fealt to be LR cars are actually owned and run by outside large lease companies! just badged as LR cars.
The lease companies get big discounts, I ordered a pure as I could spec one to the hilt cheaper than getting a prestige or dynamic, the guy at the lease company said it was due to discounts on extras.
Event was great tonight, 45 minute drive, car is everything if not better than expected, build quality felt much better than the RRS and on par if not better than the D4/latest RRS. Felt bigger in side than would believe in the pictures. Only down side is the rear window is tiny, vertually non existant..

Anyone else already been to York? What did you think? What was the off road bit like? Where does the pre prescribed course take you? Will I be able to pop home and see if it will fit round my drive?!!
