3rd service 48k

Just booked mine in for £315 inc Vat and a courtesy car, and also informed this service includes a brake fluid change.

RE: 3rd service 48k

You're banging the miles in Cutter!

Sounds a good price (relatively) as should be similar to the 1st Service with the addition of the extra brake fluid change.

My second service was with Guy Salmon at Stratford upon Avon but for this third service their price was £420, so I called Ridgeway LR @ Oxford and they quoted £315 quite a big saving!!

RE: 3rd service 48k

That's worth knowing! as I also used Stratford for my second service and got the straight LR quote of £450 (which they reduced to £420 on the day). They only charged £280 For the first service!

I'm getting close to 58000 miles

Car serviced by guy salmon coventry, fantastic service and if I plan it well a courtesy car, normally a freelander

Only parts needed so far, rear pads and discs and as cutter says a brake fluid change.

Still love the car, just gets better and yes still on the original 18s scorpions Very Happy

One of the happy owners, ordered June 2011, delivered Wednesday 8th February 2012, now 97000 miles. Scorpions lasted 78'000 miles.

Pure TD4 5 door, fuji white, ebony interior, Pan roof, Front fogs, spare wheel, privacy glass, towbar and black roofrails.

Cars got to go back to company March 25th 2015 Sad

RE: 3rd service 48k

You guys must be doing a huge amount of motorway pounding, it would be interesting to know what you MPG or ltr/100kms is like as you must be also keeping a pretty high average speed............

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: 3rd service 48k

My current daily round trip of 100 miles around the M25 from Hertfordshire & down the M3 to Hampshire (horrendous commute!) is now bringing me in at a reasonably pleasant ( never thought i'd admit that!) 44mpg. However I am never breaking 70! Car is now up to 22k.

3rd service 48k

I'm 51k now and averaging just over 30k a year.
Just had 3rd service done for £340 at Stratstone Nottingham .
Had no trouble other than new rear pads an extra £227.
I average 37-39 mpg and bat about now everywhere and don't worry about the figures.
Have my chip set at 19 all the time and use the extra power to keep the fun factor up. Still got 3 mm on fronts and 5 mm rears on 19 " scorpions.

19 - blimey! If I knew someone who had this box and had had it on 14 for most of the time I might get him to try it at 19 to see what difference it makes.
