Ok I'll ask my mate who knows this person to get in touch with him before his car goes in for service..
My mate is going to go round to his mates house at half-time during the JLR v BMW international football game this evening to help him change this setting so he can use it in the morning...my mates really helpful.

Picked up my car last night from it's 48k service.. all in price was £285.01, but still no software upgrade for the DAB
