RE: 2014 Evoque revealed!
Some very interesting new features. I like the wheel designs.
Sunglasses holder in roof - about time, the Mk1 Freelander had this. I compained about not having this when I bought my Freelander 2HSE in 2009.
Green Logo on LR badges on a Range Rover = going backwards!
Branding on mats, what is the point in this as in only Prestige models have Evoque on them?
Removal of Auto dim rear view mirror from Lux pack but adding parking features but asking over £200 more?
I wonder if the new trim options for the Prestige mean that it won't have the present rather nasty hard door card inserts? One reason I would not buy a Prestige currently as that part is rather Ford Fiesta!

RE: 2014 Evoque revealed!
I'm still trying to figure out the front end whether it is lower in MY14 than MY13 and older.
Some pics suggest this, but no mention in the document. Also the gap under the fog light seems smaller in some versions, so not sure if it is a MY14 vs MY13 difference or just a Pure/Prestige/Dynamic difference in general?

It was not so clear as they compared a pure with a dynamic for the mirrors and lights.
I think it is an optical illusion

Ad a bit of photoshop for good measure. Have lowered the 2014 by com gen to give it a sportier stance.
My opinion only...

Pity that the auto dipping RVM is deleted, while I can honestly say I have not really noticed mine working I think that is because I have the privacy glass, I suspect if I didn't have privacy glass then it would be more noticable. My 2RRS's didn't have privacy and the auto dipping was really worthwhile BUT it would have been even better if the exterior rear view mirrors had also had the system. Land Rover has maybe missed a trick here by not making the Auto dip RVM an option on cars without privacy glass. I like the addition of the Tan and the very dark brown leather interiors too. Looks like anybody who has a Colima Lime Prestige Coupe with Couture interior might have a collectible car!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Maybe the Auto Dim mirror becomes standard? Should be - it is on the Freelander.

RE: 2014 Evoque revealed!
So did anybody figure what the black painted Tupperware box in the grille was connected to from all the descriptions in the release info? I don't see adaptive cruise control mentioned anywhere. It's a pity too that Havana has been dropped from the colours, I don't believe. Zanzibar will be any more popular than Colima or Havana somehow, pity we didn't get Corris Grey or Causeway Grey from the RRS and FFRR colour choices
