Well, I was driving last week at 150 mph unable to throw off a Cayenne turbo S. There is a market for a higher performance Evoque; it might not be needed in Fife, but then Fife is hardly the centre of the automotive Universe.

An M3 the Evoque is not, and never will be.... But with how well it handles (for an SUV) in that smooth chassis, a fast Evoque sure would be tasty!

If you order an Si4 in the UK you are simply put in the holding pool and told it will be built when it is built and that's that. 2 dealers told me this. Reason is they are satisfying the Far Eastern markets first.
I guess that should mean good resuduals for Si4 for a while.

I've just had confirmation from my dealer that LR will indeed be discontinuing the Evoque TD4 "after the next batch of orders"

I have heard that eD4 outsells TD4, strange that we have so few of them on the forum and quite a few TD4's

Maybe it's a different type of person who buys an eD4 compared to the average forum member? I'm generalising, of course!

I placed my order for my TD4 last month... Have yet to go in and finalise my spec yet either. Are you telling me I won't even get a TD4 now???

I would guess that you could be OK if your order has actually been placed with Land Rover and not just on your dealer's waiting list. Best check with them though.
