Was the LRX "mirror" a mirror or a mounting for a rear view camera?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: wingmirrors aftermarket ? lrx style

Sure I read on here once upon a time that the mirrors had to be a certain size to meet regulations based on the size of the car...no idea if there is any truth in it but I must say that given the awesome design of the Evoque, it does seem somewhat curious that they would put such big mirrors on unless they had no choice!

^^ is true, and was stated way back at the launch when comments were made about the mirrors.
LR we're keen to point out that their hand was forced in the size of them.

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).

Someone might know whether the size of wing mirror a vehicle in the EU must be *sold with* is also the size that legally has to remain on the vehicle.

you would have 3 years use in the UK before you found out at the MOT if you fitted a smaller set to a new car!

The size is not required in the states. I wish we had our own spec for the mirrors!
