Rear number plate style

Popped into Guy Salmon this lunch time, my timing was perfect as they were just about to "hide" their deno black prestige 5 door.

I noticed that the rear number plate (dealers name at the moment) was not the usual rectangle but "Rover 75" style. Guy Salmon fit this plate as standard to RRS and it does look better than the standard plate. They will also fit as standard to RRE

Does anybody know if this is a recommendation from LR, if not you might want to discuss with your dealer. Sorry didn't have a camera

RE: Rear number plate style

When I bought the RRS's both dealers I used gave me the choice, they could provide either. The ones that look really odd are the normal rectangle style with a single numeral and single letter on them - I see a FFRR round here most days with plates like that when they could have had the cut down ones. The Rover75 style are also used on Ford Focus's

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I hate the rover 75 shape....will ensure mine ain't...though my dealer has never used it in the past on the RRS

RE: Rear number plate style

If my Evoque comes with the one they use on Ford Foci, how much would it be for me to get it replaced with a standard one?
