RE: Rear number plate style

Why would the dealers use a Rover 75 shaped plate on the Evoque when the recess is rectangular? I could understand using the large rectangle size rather than the standard slim one to fill the gap but not the smiley mouth!?!

Talk to dealer £0, Ask at your local car shop £17ish...!

My dealer told me they are using a large rectangular one on Evoques - not the Rover 75 style.

Good news for you Ant, I saw a couple picking up their evoque from my dealer with a Rover 75 style plate on the back, that's what set my alarm bells ringing, at the launch I assumed it was just for the fancy PURE, DYNAMIC, PRESTIGE plates!

If your car comes with the curvy corners plate, ask your dealer to make you up a plain plate that you will need for the lighting board you have for your bike rack or the small trailer that you are getting............... Any decent dealer will chuck one in for free.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
