The factory welcomes pre-booked visitors if you are ever over here and can book in advance. Details how to arrange are available elsewhere on the forum. It is a worthwhile day out but makes you wonder how, with the care taken of the cars in production, damaged paintwork, rattles and glitches with technology make it through the QC to the dealerships. I don't believe dealership staff inflict all the damage to new cars that we see reported on the forums.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
