New evoque

Hi, I just bought a evoque with these specs:
[Image: 1071395_10151782907496085_1538911237_o.jpg]

It cost me 65,000... I know, its very expensive in my country,
But I fell in love with the evoque at first sight Embarrassed, the dealership told me that my model
is the full with all the features, and it was really dissapointing that mine didnt come with TPMS!!
and without the dynamic mode Crying Tried to sue them because I thought all the features were
standard in other countries... what a ripoff...
So... few questions...
-Can I install front cameras and TPMS on my model?? without going to the dealership Rolling Eyes
-What "sport edition" means??
-What are the cornering lamps??

thanks!

RE: New evoque

Sport Edition sounds like an extra badge the dealer has stuck on the back of it to make it into a "special edition" there hasn't been any Sport Edition on the UK market.

Cornering lamps are part of the Adaptive Xenon headlight system, before 30mph and turn the steering wheel or click on the turn indicator and a small spotlight will illuminate the side of the road.

Front cams and TPMS require special software which is usually installed at the factory

Looking at your spec sheet you have got what we call a Dynamic but without some of the Dynamic bits, which could be why the dealer is selling it as the "Sport Edition"

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: New evoque

Common practice for manufacturers/importers to use different model names in different markets. In some overseas markets you can still buy a SE model Freelander.

RE: New evoque

For Australian cars they use Sports edition in the build sheet to refer to the Dynamic model.

Fuji White Dynamic SD4 – auto, with Energy interior and pano roof.
