New Rover, new shoes and sunglasses

Getting the dark look going. Stock 19's sprayed w/ a silver chromed black. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 255/55R19's and some window & light tint. She's two weeks old today.

Stereo planning underway, researching tuning and turbo mods here in the states. Likely borrow from Focus ST kits.

Be careful with the engine mods because the engine is not a straight Ford EcoTec dropped in, the breathing and lubrication has been modified by Land Rover to suit off road use and driving at weird angles across slopes and up and down steep hills

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Thanks Tim and Dan. Tim, Good points and I'll be sure to consult with some trusted local tuners. We wouldn't happen to have a dry sump would we? I would be pleasantly surprised if we did.

Looks good. I've only seen one video of an audio upgrade. They said the stock speakers were pretty good and placement is good too. Only thing I didn't like was the added subwoofer in a box in the back. Took up too much room in an already tight space. Utilizing the alcove in the rear passenger side might be an option as well as using the spare tire space.

The meridian system does have nice cones, no cheap paper. Already took the door cards off and inspected. Stock locations are really great and with the seats able to slide back so far, will make a nice SQ sound stage. Stock locations will support a tweet ,a 4" and 6.5" 3-way component system. Will want to mod the 4" mounting location to get a better angle on it.

For sub, the tight alcove is where you can get some airspace. Toying with using the spare tire space, tons of room there. Likely use it to tie in w/ the alcove space to get the cubic feet needed for a 15" sub w/out taking up much cabin room.

Looks really great! Do you notice a noise/ride quality difference on road with those tires? Probably make it a bit grippier off-road, do you take it on trails at all?
