Is there anyway LR (LR Customer Services) could do something similar for those of us Evoque owners/Forum members.

Good PR and a chance to experience the RRE's Big Brother?

RRE Steve clearly enjoy it.

It was a very good day but I bet it wasn't cheap to run!! There were 3 groups during the day of only around 7-10 people per group. I had the feeling talking to some that most people there had already per-ordered a new RRS and that's why they were there. I was asked a couple of time's which colour I had ordered? I think I was just very lucky to get the phone call!!

Wonder why I didn't get an invite? I got the Evoque Unleashed Event invite when I had a Freelander, so I guess they assume I can't afford a Sport so no point in wasting the slot!! Evil

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!

I think my invite was a roll on as I registered my interest about the new RRS on the Land Rover website ages ago. Sometime your luck slots into place. There weren't many people on that RRS drive event!

It has just lost the standard low range /transfer box which is now an option. It is a pity that more people haven't tried their RRS offroad because they are as good as the Discovery they are based on and in the specs with Dynamic Reponse suspension pack even better. It is unfortunate that RRS got labelled car that professional footballs loved to tart up and Clarkson labelled the drug dealers dream because especially in the S/C and TDv8 versions they were bl**dy good cars on and off the road. The recent 3.0ltr V6 versions were pretty good too. It is actually quite an under-rated car because it's direct competition is the useless offroad X5.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

No, it's big brother has that crown! The more I see of them in the YouTube channel and on TV the more I wish I could justify spending so much money to attract even more thieves to my house trying to steal one!

Has anyone seen the new RR Sport TV advert, at Pike's Peak?

Good advert, can't wait to hear that mark_n has tried something similar Wink

Saw my first one on the road today a Firenze Red with black Evoque style 6 type wheels and black contrast roof, look good. Typical sport owner though, tailgating the last time I was that close to someone I was wearing a durex. Lol
