Looks like a Ford Focus/lancia half breed!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

A definite clear trend starting to show in the overall mpg polynomial line (red dotted)

Evo got Exo...

So a good days detailing after 18 months of use, Washed, Iron X and Tar X, Washed in de-greaser, a light Machine Polish with gTechniq P2, Panel Wiped, C1 Applied, Exo Applied.

A hard days work, and still not completed, needs gTechniq T1 and the side steps polished up, but came up pretty immaculate.

Interestingly hand polishing the Black is disastrous... machine polish and it comes up lovely.

If you ever thought your car was clean, white shows you how it's not, spray it with Iron X... I thought it was already clean and I was wasting product, but the fallout on the paint was extensive!

Found this in the back seat today, and now the clip holding the seat back squeaks! Any ideas where it comes from?

RE: My Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual

I saw a Mazda3 in dark metallic blue today that had very obviously been treated to a machine polish recently by it's owner - looked like a little too much elbow grease had been applied to the machine polisher judging by the deep swirls in the rich paintwork........
Took mine to the local hot pressure wash place this afternoon and the lad driving the pressure washer wanted to know what the BabyRR.com sticker meant........ he also commented that he finds White cars the most difficult to clean so they get an additional spray with the solvent cleaner and snow foam but was surprised that my car was much easier to clean than any other white one he has to wash, was it very new?
He was surprised when I told him it was 2 years and 2 weeks old. He was impressed that the paint protection system applied at new had worked so well. He also thoroughly approved of my new steed's Ipanema sand - one of the easier colours to wash, so I told him I was expecting to be charged half price for the easier job when the car arrives!

RE: My Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual

That's usually marring, easily done on dark colours, machine polishing should be done in stages with stages of polish and pads, and of course pressure. What's amazing is someone prepared to machine polish would then leave they're car in this state rather than finishing the job, probably didn't research how to properly, or worse a so called "detailer" did it.

These treatments are definitely worthwhile, they beat wax for durability handsdown, looks like yours was done well by the dealer Tim.

The three styles to my Evoque... Cool

A set for summer, a set for winter and a set that I just had to have for the price! Laughing

Style 4 : Style 5 : Style 6
