RE: MY 2013

Ranger4 - "normally" if you take your Land Rover/Range Rover to a franchised dealer's service bay for a routine service then updating to the latest version of soft/firm ware is usually carried out at the same time, including map updates (well in my 16 years ownership experience with my local dealer's service outlet and at LPR in London when I have had cars serviced there). Sometimes the upgrades are so extensive that the car has to be kept in overnight, as I have experienced several times.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Thanks XFullFatTim, I'm new to Range Rover so that's useful info. As this is my first expensive car I definitely want to keep everything up to date. If any 'major' updates did occur in between services then I hope they'd allow me to have them done straight away rather then waiting - I've paid for a 3 year services package at my dealership, so I hoping they'll look after me properly.

I do agree though that one Range Rover characteristic has been lost in making the car look so good and that is the loss of the ability to see every corner from the driver's seat, it would be really good to at least be able to see the corners of the bonnet/hood even though there are parking aids, you cannot rely on them if you take your car off into the wilds in deep grass as you have to disable the sensors.

I think they now call it the sports command driving position.

I hope, that the colour Causway Grey comes for the 5-doors RRE.

+1.

Although the next time I buy an Evoque would most likely be a 300bhp one when/if it does come out.

Evoque Round 2: Fuji Si4 Dynamic - 5dr. Pursuit interior. Dynamic Tech Pack. Adaptive Xenons. 19in Standard Alloy wheels. Twisted Evil
Contrast black roof (to be painted soon). (Previously a Firenze Pure owner - still my favourite colour Wink)

Would like to see more individual options without having to spend a fortune on a whole pack just to get one thing ie heated windscreen.

As for changes, I think they should make it so you lift the wipers up when washing the car without hitting the bonnet.

Select winter mode for the wipers before washing

Pure Coupe SD4 Manual; Fuji White; 19" style 5 wheels; Addaptive Xenons; Auto Lights, Wipers and Rear Mirror; Folding mirrors with cool puddle lights. Magnoflow Exhaust finishers

H&S reasons will prevent that I'm sure but it's my biggest bugbear.
And perhaps too big an update but add electric height adjustment to the passenger seat as standard.

+1 for the passenger seat height adjust

2017 Evoque SE Tech - Kaikoura Stone - > PREVIOUSLY - 5dr Pure Mauritius blue with panoramic roof, power tailgate.

RE: MY 2013

Another thing that would be nice in regards to interior options is to stop forcing us to get full leather seats on Pures. The Alcantara interior is quite attractive but if you get the tech pack you are forced to upgrade to a full leather interior. A bit of diversity would be nice. This is for continental Europe specs, I think the UK gets full leather as standard.
