RE: Iconic?

I would have to disagree with that last statement and say the Audi tt is iconic, and many would agree. The tt was an instant success with it's curves and kickstarted the rise of Audi. 14 yrs on and sales are as strong as ever....

Iconic?

The E-type and the Vulcan Bomber are icons of engineering designed and built way ahead of there times!

The Evoque in 3-5 years will be..like a mondeo.. Boring..but right now it's very nice looking, but iconic into the future.. I don't think so.

RE: Iconic?

Defender is definitely one, RR Classic and Disco1 might be considered to be 2 more but I wouldn't think Evoque will be considered iconic

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Iconic?

Think too early to tell, but probably not. If it had returned true 60mpg as I read in autocar when the LRX concept was shown, then maybe, as would of been a true game changer......however, the truth is somewhat different.
Defender yes though
