Paddleshift standard on sd4

I have taken it for granted that this is standard, on the basis that I haven't seen it as an option anywhere....
but on the flip side, I've not seen it saying it's standard either!! Shocked

Someone put me out of my misery please! Very Happy

Yes, it is standard on SD4. However, if I have read the handbook correctly, it only works in Sports mode.

I think it works in 'D' too, but switches back on its own after a period of time whereas S holds it in gear?

But thanks for the confirmation on the standard, Jeez, I can't afford to add any more options in Very Happy

RE: Paddleshift standard on sd4

Yup that's how it works RacingSnake - at least that's how it worked when I test drove an SD4. Basically you can use the paddle shifts in either D or S and doing so invokes "Command Shift" mode, but in D it will revert back to auto mode after a few seconds whereas in S you need to hold the + paddle for a couple of seconds to revert to auto mode, otherwise it will just remain in Command Shift mode and only change gear when you use the paddles.

It's also been discussed here http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Auto-rotary-dial?page=2
