RE: Easy remote closing of the rear tailgate \ hatch

Forgot to post. Purchased about a year ago. Took about 30 mins to install. Been working flawlessly.

If you live in Seattle and want someone to install it, let me know. Smile

I got my wife's motor all fitted with this simple upgrade, bar the heat making it fall off the sticky pad, repositioned and added a couple of drops of superglue.

All as described above outstanding

I am interested in this and was wondering why it did not operate this way from the factory. This is my first post, so I do not think I can receive PM's yet.

Doug,

My email address is portals at meesterover dot com.

Thank you!

Probably because JLR doesn't wants to be responsible for accidants that happen when a hatch gets closed unattended.

Email sent.

It doesn't make sense to me why they don't have it.
Most other cars, including my new Jaguar (made by the same Company) allow it to close automatically.
If it hits anything on the way down, it just opens back up.....

Yeah, that is what I see on friends non-RR vehicles. Thanks for the email.
