The only de-merits they find against it are -too frequently seen on UK roads and poor towing figure. They praised it for low emissions, price, design, off-road ability and for being such a fun car. They tested a Prestige this year and it scored the highest score of 89%, Jeep Grand Cherokee was runner up with 86%, Disco4 was 3rd with 84%, RRS was 4th with 81%.

I am still waiting for mine, but my second choise was the grand cherokee (as i have one now);

The grand cherokee is only available in 3.0D with co2 +200gr, and that would cost me approx. 5000€ to use the company car for private reasons, the evoque will cost me half of that amount, wich is still a lot for a car that i've allready paid with the company...

Help! When I google 4x4 magazine SUV of the year, the only hits I get are for the Subaru XV (apart from our own forum entries). Bit strange. How many SUVs of the year do they have?

Arrived 16 December 2011: Prestige SD4 auto 5dr in OG with Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Xenons, Surround Cameras, Auto Dimming Rearview, Grey Oak Wood, Spare Wheel and Powered Tailgate.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
