Just a tip from the Gleneagles event - if you don't have your invite don't just turn up hoping you can gate-crash - there are not many places and all are taken. The LR staff had an irrate gentleman to deal with while I was waiting to be registered at their reception desk. Told them he was going to cancel his order and that he owned 3 other Range Rovers and all sorts of crap - the staff very politely told him it's an invite only day. HOWEVER at Gleneagles the car we used were in a public car park so you can just turn up and look at them and there are plenty of Land Rover Experience staff on hand to talk to you.

Turn up in time - I was 30 minutes early which meant I not only got almost the car I have ordered to drive but I had time to wander around the other displays.

Listen to what the lead man says about driving them on public roads - after we left the grounds of the hotel we exerienced exactly what he had warned us about - mad other road users and pedestrians determined to have a look too!
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Im hoping someone will cancel for 7th so I can get a slot. Im on the reserve list. York is about 80 miles from me and all other venues a lot further away so i was a bit gutted when it was fully booked.
