Hi all been on the forum a while now but I've finally taken delivery of my black evoque se tech automatic 2.0l diesel . Only extra I added was the tinted windows but I wish I'd added the heated steering wheel.

So far I absolutely love the car. After reading lots about how poor the sat nav system is I was pleasantly surprised and feel it's good. Not sure if it's been updated on the my16 models though. Love the puddle lamps, what a fab touch!

Very glad I chose the ivory interior, looks great and the seats seem very comfy

Next step is to plasti dip the wheels and badges black I think then that will be it I think.

I chose the car for its practicality and for its ability in the snow. It's been delivered with Michelin latitude tour hp tyres on which I think are all terrain? Will see how I get on with these but might change to some winter tyres soon. We live right in the middle of a national park where it's not a case of if we get snow it's when!

Picked up a boot liner a few weeks back off a member on here which is great and Margot the dog loves it too![Image: bfdf408b0bf81790f32070ed16839532.jpg]

Very nice, good to see it mud plugging already. I used to have the heated steering wheel on my old Range Rover, but I hardly used it that much. I don't think you'll really miss it. Heated seats on the other hand...

Yeh love the heated seats had them on all the time I've been in so far.

Can envisage my self getting in after scraping ice off the screen in a few weeks and wishing I had a heated steering wheel!

Yeh car doesn't stay clean long round here!

You shouldn't need to scrape the front or rear screen of your Evoque as they come with a heated front screen as well as a heated rear screen.............. I would also recommend putting the wipers into the winter park mode at night too if you leave the car outside, it parks the wipers part way up the screen so that they also sit on the heated area, also remember to turn the auto on wipers OFF at night if there is a frost forecast to save damage to the rubbers as soon as you press the Start button!

Good advice, thanks!

Oh, another tip you might not have discovered here.

The parcel shelf can be stowed behind the rear seats when you don't want to use it (for dogs etc.). There's no need to wrap it in bin bags and lose it in the loft any more...

Oh that is a great tip. I was slightly surprised that the parcel shelf wasnt a better quality slide away one
