Folding Mirrors - Lurcher - 15-10-2015 10:39pm

Just a quickie , picked up June 15 Pure Tech Auto Corris 1550mls tonight from Copley Landrover In Yorkshire , when we got home I noticed the exterior mirrors didn't fold on locking .
Was sort of expecting it after being used to it on the last 2 FL2's , know you can manually fold by pressing both mirror controls together , just had a look in manual and mentions dealer activated option , is this correct ?

Thanks

Julian

Yes but all the decent dealers that I have encountered activate all dealer activated options before delivery and for free so you need to get onto your dealer to carry out the PDI properly! I cannot remember now what the other dealer activated items are, apart from the mirror fold on lock there are IIRC 2 others

Thanks for the quick reply , thought that might be the case , will give them a bell tomorrow , didn't particularly want to drive the 60 mls round trip so soon after picking it up .

Checked with the dealer this morning and the Pure Tech model doesn't have power folding mirrors ( higher spec models have them )so I will manually push them in when needed , think I would have preferred them over the auto lights/rain sensitive wipers it comes with .

Sorry for misleading you, LR must have cut them from the spec with the new model.

No prob , I shouldn,t have assumed they had them Laughing , see they are standard on the MY16 SE/SE Tech .

yep I had a pure and didn't have power fold mirrors and was disappointed. but I got used to manually
folding them when parking. they cannot bee retrofitted.

I borrowed a 2012 pure tech to try out and that had folding mirrors when locked.

My 2012 pure tech has no folding mirrors.

IIRC they were / are an optional extra
