Gulp! I've just put a holding deposit on one! - Steve D - 15-10-2015 01:39pm

Going to look at a Black Dynamic Lux on Saturday from Guy Salmon in Northhampton. A bit pricey for a 12 plate but it's exactly what I want. I've sort of done a deal over the phone and left a holding deposit on it, fully returnable if I don't buy it. If I pay the asking price it will come with a new space saver spare wheel kit instead of the pump, fully serviced and fresh MOT, Wheels to be refurbed, one years road tax and delivered to my house in Essex. Anything else I should look out for?

I did just the same, with my mauritious blue 2013 dyn lux, I collected from dealer but 100 mile journey. quite surprised with handover, it was in the showroom with a black cover draped over it. they also emailed a video of the
handover. Smile

Easily missed but make sure that the dealer supplies the owner's manual and service portfolio with the car AND at least 2 keyfobs. The Evoque has a secret compartment in the glove box for storing the manual and service records so look there before shouting at them if you cannot find it! Also remember to check on the DVLA website that they have actually taxed it as it would be a bit embarrassing to find that they didn't on the first trip out in it! Check also if they have included any documentation if you have taken out the 2 years servicing agreement. And one last thing......................... ask them for a free voucher to a Land Rover Experience Half Day, even if you are intend never to go off road it is worth getting to know what the car is capable of and how to use the Terrain Response properly. It normally costs £300+ so the free voucher is worth getting your hands on.
