First facelift look?? - RacingSnake - 15-09-2015 10:29pm I was expecting to see some pics from frankfurt, but nothing has been forthcoming. I did, however, stumble across this pic on a german site http://www.autozeitung.de/auto-neuheiten/vw-golf-suv-cabrio/Range-Rover-Evoque/n411413/4?panorama=1 I still like it Looks like the same colour scheme as this one which was spied filming for an advert... http://www.motor1.com/spy/56176/2016-range-rover-evoque-cabrio-spotted-undisguised RE: First facelift look?? - XFullFatTim - 15-09-2015 10:54pm The colour is Phoenix Orange, standard optional metallic colour for DS and Evoque (supposedly). I've seen plenty of DS's with it and a black contrast roof but never an Evoque. RE: First facelift look?? - Tony - 16-09-2015 09:01am I have seen an Evoque in this, it is called Phoenix Orange, 99.9% certain its the same as Firesand in the Jaguar colour range. I saw the Evoque twice, once in the compound on a dull day and (like the Jag version) looked flat and uninspiring. Next time I saw the car it was in the showroom under lights and it looked very good - another one of those colours which only work on a sunny day, so not for this end of the UK! RE: First facelift look?? - J77 - 16-09-2015 10:46pm It's a £1700 option on the DS as you have to take the black roof. I'm not sure about it, I would much prefer to see a new Defender ready for when the current one ends production. RE: First facelift look?? - morey000 - 17-09-2015 12:24am on the bright side- the sunglass holder won't be a problem with the convertible. RE: First facelift look?? - RREVO - 17-09-2015 03:26pm It's not for me I'm afraid, and that's not just because of the colour RE: First facelift look?? - RacingSnake - 21-09-2015 12:42pm Found this quote online (with reference to their presence @ Frankfurt) "Finally, Land Rover had a quiet show. They are saving their big hit Evoque convertible for the Los Angeles event later this year. However, they did reveal a new model, a kids’ pedal-powered Defender, costing a ridiculous £10,000. Ideal for Prince George, perhaps?" So, November 20-29th. |
