Take a look at this lot then! - XFullFatTim - 02-09-2011 12:25pm One of the guys on FullFatRR.com visited his local dealer and saw all this lot. Anybody thinking of full colour coding a white one should think again though as you will get a good idea of what it will look like in some of the photos of them with the transportation protection on them.............. Silver and grey won't look so attractive either ** Link to photos removed at photo-owner's request** RE: Take a look at this lot then! - paulcon - 02-09-2011 01:42pm Those pics are so, so useful to see. IMO anything less than 19" wheels and the styling loses something. The problem is intensified by the black trim on the arches. Dynamic it is. I'm willing to sacrifice the interior of the Prestige - beauty is on the outside RE: Take a look at this lot then! - pureevoque - 02-09-2011 02:35pm (02-09-2011 01:42pm)paulcon Wrote: Those pics are so, so useful to see. Where in the photos Tim posted are there any evoques with less that 19" wheels? RE: Take a look at this lot then! - paulcon - 02-09-2011 03:44pm Sure I'm about to be told I am wrong, but pic 1 of the white Pure - the wheels to me looked more like 18's but it may be more to do with the lighting and the black trim making it look like there's more space between the wheels and the arch than there actually is. RE: Take a look at this lot then! - XFullFatTim - 02-09-2011 03:49pm Paul the wheels on that car are 19"s, the 18's are 7 spokers those are 5 spokes RE: Take a look at this lot then! - paulcon - 02-09-2011 04:07pm Yup - hands up I'm wrong - just looked at the configurator. I have never seen that design before as I am only looking at a 5 door and that one is unique to the coupe. Sure they look great outside RE: Take a look at this lot then! - paulus599 - 03-09-2011 11:16am Also regardless of what size wheels are specified the gap to the wheel arches will be the same (within a few millimeters). i.e. the rolling radius is the same, it's just that the tyre sidewall is higher on the smaller rims. RE: Take a look at this lot then! - paulcon - 09-09-2011 04:58pm OK already. I am stupid. |
