Stability control not available? - Kugaman1 - 02-04-2015 07:24pm Started the car today and got the following warning "drive with care, stability control not available" The steering felt odd, heavy in some parts and light in others. I drove it round the block and the steering seems better. However the fault still stands. Have turned off/on etc, but no joy. Any ideas before I have to go through the stress of trying to get it sorted? RE: Stability control not available? - PhilSkill - 02-04-2015 08:12pm If it's not cleared after a reset, it may be a sensor failure, and probably best if you have warranty to get it to the dealer, if the error is constantly there it should at least be easy to show the dealer. RE: Stability control not available? - XFullFatTim - 02-04-2015 08:42pm Check the DSC button hasn't been pushed in accidentally - it should reset when restarting as the default position is ON RE: Stability control not available? - Kugaman1 - 03-04-2015 08:57am No, Ive tried the DSC button, makes no difference! Its odd, the steering feels assisted and then all of a sudden unassisted...then goes back to normal... RE: Stability control not available? - Kugaman1 - 03-04-2015 02:47pm Looks like a steering angle sensor problem. Its going to the dealers tomorrow to get looked at...... Im going to be in a hire car for a few days.... RE: Stability control not available? - ziggy stardust - 02-05-2015 03:47pm I had the same a couple of months ago several times, as I had LandRover assist out recently I mentioned it to him but the computer had no record of it.
