LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - Ajgriffin - 10-02-2015 09:18pm [size=medium] I was wandering around facebook and saw an LED light fix I've not seen before. Does anyone have any experience with this? It's a 19 inch or 48.26 cm LED light bar mounted in the grille of an Evoque. You can get a step by step install in an album on their Facebook page if you like. Just find Pure Evoque when you're in Facebook and look at their albums. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pure-Evoque/114181425371518 Note: Sorry the photo is so large. I just pasted it in from their site. LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - genericd - 11-02-2015 02:53am Would that be legal? Texas has a lot of deer and dark, unlit neighborhoods. The light bar can be connected anyway you like I supposed. That would be at the discretion of the vehicle owner. It's on sale for $189.99 right now. RE: LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - XFullFatTim - 21-02-2015 06:04pm You can get LED driving lights and spotlights that mount on a lighting bar for a Defender, they are very good too. Those though look rather like a line of LED's like the MaxPower boys stick to their Saxos and small Peugeots! RE: LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - Ajgriffin - 22-02-2015 04:17pm Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any links for the Defender with a LED light bar? If it's really low profile, I think that's a good option. These are barely visible. They say you could actually hook them up to a designated switch and use them as needed, but these were tied in to the high beams here just for simplicity and no time to run a different switch that day. RE: LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - XFullFatTim - 25-02-2015 05:28pm There are a few sellers of them, the first one I found in Land Rover Monthly magazine is http://www.tmdtuning.com then the next ad is http://www.urban-truck.com These are both UK companies RE: LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - Ajgriffin - 25-02-2015 08:57pm (25-02-2015 05:28pm)XFullFatTim Wrote: There are a few sellers of them, the first one I found in Land Rover Monthly magazine is http://www.tmdtuning.com then the next ad is http://www.urban-truck.com These are both UK companies Thank you!!!! RE: LED light bar 19in - Better visibility - HotLap - 04-03-2015 04:07am Aj those are pretty cool looking and thanks for sharing...are they very effective, hard to see where they are aimed in your pic (down at the road like a fog lamp) or just more visibility at night? Say, where did you get the grille without the Land Rover "Nipple" on it?
