My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - bangsters - 12-09-2014 02:27am Hello. Took her for her first car wash, and then took some shots in the afternoon. Cheers!! RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - DVFlyer - 12-09-2014 03:54am Great color combo! PS- Ever heard of Willingborough? I lived there years (many ) ago. RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - bangsters - 12-09-2014 04:06am yeah passed there a while back. i believe it's like an hour away from where i'm at. i'm in Marlboro. RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - bangsters - 14-09-2014 05:50am Any suggestions on the roof? wrap it in gloss black, or plastidip? black carbon wrap perhaps? suggestion? RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - m_101 - 15-09-2014 02:44pm I would personally suggest a gloss black roof always looks good... but I'm biased! RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - XFullFatTim - 15-09-2014 04:49pm Before I changed my order to Zanzibar I had an Ipanema on order like this one with black contrast roof But when Land Rover relented and allowed us to order 5Door Evoque's in Zanzibar I changed to this with black contrast roof and Black Pack RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - bangsters - 15-09-2014 04:57pm Thanks m_101 and xFullFatTim. I guess plastidip and faux carbon fiber out the door and gonna go with gloss black wrap. Will a wrap be fine when brought into a car wash? I don't wash my car myself being in a townhome without my own garage, so not sure if the wrap will be fine with taking the car to the local car wash from time to time. By the way, The pics of you posted on your zanzibar and ipanema sand with contrasting roofs are very nice. But mine is a Pure Plus so I have the gray plastic trim on the lower part of the car and bumpers. If I wrap the top gloss black, I might also wrap the grays and plastic trims to gloss black. What do you think? Anyone done the same and have some pics to share?? RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - XFullFatTim - 16-09-2014 04:14pm I think it would look good, and one less colour in the mix, especially for the bits around the window trim. Once you've done the nudge bar bits front and rear you will then be looking out for black wheels......... But that will have to wait until next spring, as I haven't even put any miles on the current wheels yet. What you think? gunmetal or gloss black also for wheels? RE: My Ipanema Sand Pure Plus - XFullFatTim - 16-09-2014 05:43pm I have gunmetal ( technically called Anthracite Grey) alloys on my Dark Green Defender and they look great, if yours will be as dark as that then they should be OK |
