Heated Steering Wheel - MY13 Prestige - 30-04-2014 03:14pm When I bought my Evoque MY2013 Prestige I didn't configure a heated steering wheel, which I now regret. Can I now retrofit one? I saw a couple of YouTube videos showing how to do it on a MY 2012 but I'm not sure if I can do it on a 2013 model. Any ideas? Price? I'm in London. Thanks guys. RE: Heated Steering Wheel - XFullFatTim - 30-04-2014 05:32pm Yes you can and several people on the forum have done it themselves RE: Heated Steering Wheel - RacingSnake - 30-04-2014 07:55pm I've retrofitted one, I posted on here about it (with costs).... can't remember off the top of my head. Bit basically it's 2 components.... the heated wheel itself, and a new slip-ring. I got the wheel off ebay (mis-advertised as a regular paddle wheel), and a new slip ring from duckworths through the site. Actual swap over took about 20 mins, and worked first time... and honestly... it's worth it!! lol its superb in those cold early mornings ![]() RE: Heated Steering Wheel - The Valeter - 30-04-2014 10:08pm I have a brand new unused one in my garage now for sale. It is for a manual car without paddles. You will need so my dealer told me a rotary coupler for it to work. Heated Steering Wheel - MY13 Prestige - 30-04-2014 10:26pm Thank you so much everyone - my car is auto and has all the extras you can think but the heated wheel! I'll do it now! ![]() |
