Rear Bumper inserts - Bryan m - 21-04-2014 09:25am

Are the plastic rear bumper inserts (tow eye cover, other side and rear 'diffuser') available separately from landrover?

I reversed onto a topiary peacock yesterday and driving off it pulled off the trims ....unfortunately the design appears to mean that although all the panels are fine the clips holding them on are all broken

Any thoughts?

And how is the topiary peacock?

Obviously invisible to reversing cameras and parking sensors!

Dan@Duckworths, forum sponsor will be able to give you all the details and part numbers you require

The peacock is fine after its experience Smile - I was a little surprised that it managed to pull them off as I would have through you would encounter far more tricky things off road....teaches me for ignoring the sensors and just backing into it

Thanks I'll get in touch with Dan to find out the parts

I have had a look for Dan's details but failed - anyone point me in his direction please

Look further down the list of forums on the home page to the section Site Sponsors. Duckworth are listed there and Dan is unfailingly helpful.

I know the right side cover is held on with plastic screws but I thought the left side and the centre piece were plastic welded on. Might be tricky refitting the new parts yourself

No they are plastic clips into the bumper which have broken off, so should be easy to refit - have emailed Dan to see if replacements are available.

If not it maybe time for the no more nails......

When you get the parts could you post some photos of the clips and attachment points
Thanks
