Sorry to hear of your plight.

I had to have a parking ding repaired and had it done by a 'proper workshop'.

Gutted as I was to need it in the first place (the culprit did pay) I have to say the paint job is seamless. You would never know, its a far cry from years gone by.
I hope you get the same result and I see no reason why not.

As for compensation, thats a tough one.....
Imagine if it had been done by an honest neighbour who knocked on your door. An apology and Insurance would have been your lot but I'm sure your dealer will want to make 100% sure a good relationship is intact so i'd almost expect something.

Do you have the space saver wheel? thats useful.
Another Landrover half day experience?
illuminated tread plates if thats your bag?

Kojak....good to have the confirmation re the repair, gives confidence that it will be a seamless and your point re compensation especially re the neighbour incident vs dealer goodwill is a very good one.

Whenever my car/s go in for service or warranty I everytime make sure I tell them there is no damage & my LR dealer inspect it first then there are no issues afterwards.
