RE: New Deilivery - Craig_d1 - 06-03-2014 07:50pm Congrats...47mpg even better! RE: New Delivery - Silver Fox - 15-04-2014 09:20pm Hi,Achieved 50.3 MPG on computer reading based on an 80 mile round trip from fill up,that consisted of 40% motorway,40% rural and 20% town with an average recorded speed of 44 MPH. RE: New Delivery - Silver Fox - 22-04-2014 01:55pm Hi,Just completed 2,000 miles from new and filled up with diesel. My overall return is 41.64 MPG return from collection to date with a calculation for the fuel that the dealer charged and a calculated fuel tank capacity to first cut off of nozzle. This is based on 40% motorway/40%rural/20%town. The MPG is increasing on each fill up as the mileage increases and my last fill was covering 309.1 miles with a return of 42.88 MPG. From fill up today I have covered 40 miles,80% motorway and 20% rural with a vehicle computer reading of 52 MPG. How do these figures compare to other 9 speed Evoque owners MPG. RE: New Delivery - XFullFatTim - 22-04-2014 02:04pm I'm getting similar with less town driving. One word of caution.......... last week I fuelled up at a new ASDA forecourt that was charging £1.319ppl as an incentive to get the customers in.............. I don't know what they had / had not added to it but my fuel consumption has taken a severe hit and I have averaged only 39mpg over the last tankful. I now have 1320 miles up, first 400 miles was a long motorway haul at 70mph. I'm back to my local Sainsbury's or Esso forecourts again and will be avoiding discounted ASDA forecourts from now on. They are both close and roughly equal price-wise. RE: New Delivery - Silver Fox - 25-04-2014 04:17am Hi,Good to read the comments Concerning MPG. All of the diesel fill ups that I have made have been at a Texaco station. When I had my Range Rover Sport immediately before the Evoque I occasinally suffered from low MPG and always thought that the main variation was the supermarket fuel,as the same journeys to work and back were being undertaken. |
