Audio, Phone controls randomly not working - rob1 - 20-01-2014 11:23am Wondering if anyone has expected this problem, and further seen it solved, so I can point my dealer in the right direction. My steering wheel audio controls (mode, vol, channel skip) as well as steering phone controls have recently (after about 9 months of ownership) started sometimes working, sometime not. By not working I mean absolutely no effect of pressing them. For example, I can press the channel skip but 10 times in a row, and it might work once or twice. Similar with volume. Then sometimes it will seem to be working ok. Dealer is at a loss, as they couldnt re-produce it ... next time I take it in I have video of it happening. Even stranger, once, the touch screen control stopped responding also, as well as the audio power/volume dial knob. After a few attempted touches on the screen, the whole screen clicked and went black (this is still while driving), stayed dark for a few seconds, then re-booted itself with the Range Rover logo, and came back to normal. Anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks!
